When the YMCA of Greater Toronto decided to establish a foundation to coordinate their very significant fundraising initiatives, the organization turned to Riverhorse America. Following an extensive program of personal interviews with executives, Board members and potential donors, Chris Ward of Riverhorse America facilitated a series of workshops with industry leaders selected to be on the new organization's Advisory Board. The result was a comprehensive brand platform designed to differentiate YMCA's fundraising initiatives from those of other worthy causes.
Tom Horlor is Chief Development Officer for the YMCA of Greater Toronto. He summed up our involvement this way: "Your workshop-based approach to branding is impressive. You were able to engage the business leaders who participated in the process, and make it an enjoyable and productive experience. We are extremely pleased with the results. With your help we have been able to establish a solid foundation on which to build our fundraising organization. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you and your approach to others. Thank you for your leadership and the effort you put into this project."
